Loved this hotel very good location

We stayed march 06 with our 2 kids 11 and 8, all the staff were very helpful, the hotel was nice and clean the food was good the hotel is close to the mrt and just off the orchard road. I would stay at the park view again

Loved the Holiday Inn, Singapore

We stayed at this motel for 4 nights after a 23 night cruise, we turned up at reception and 10am and were in our room by 10.15am, the service was excellent, the staff were brilliant. After cruising for 23 nights and having everything at our beck and call this motel was no different, the rooms were spotless, and big enough to hold my husband and I and our two children and all our luggage that we had collected over the 3 and a half weeks. The swimming pool on the roof was a delight and clean & quiet (until we got there), closing time wasnt until 11pm so there was plenty of opportunity to sight see and enjoy the pool thanks to the weather. The motel was situated right around the corner from Orchid Rd and a short stroll down a food court with one of the best little restaurants that we found in Singapore was the perfect location. I recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone. 10 out of 10 for us.

Fabulous location

Just the best place to stay especially for families. It may not be the poshest place around but the rooms are large and there's everything you could want in them (tea, coffee etc.) The pool area (and large spa) is great and well cared for and the location simply can't be beaten. It's very close to Orchard Road,the MRT,a supermarket, McDonalds and various restaurants. The staff here are always helpful and there's plenty of cabs coming and going. We have stayed at lots of different hotels so we have something to compare it to, and we've decided that we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Each time has been lovely! Can't wait to go back!

Feeling a bit worn out

A fair place that is a little worn. My room had some problems which were mostly resolved.

Staff was good.

Phone was inoperative in room, was repaired promptly.

Room Has safe but it failed, was repaired promptly

Carpet was well worn. Bathroom often had smell of sewer gas (mild to moderate). Keeping drains closed helped as well as covering floor drain.

Sheets were new and soft. They used a second top sheet over blanket which I really like. Bedding was good to excellent, although I always managed to pull out flat sheets on bed. Would prefer fitted sheets.

Television service was horrible. Never was resolved. Oddly BBC and CNN were OK but local coverage was very snowy.

Good location and pretty quiet. "Park View" is misleading though. It should be Park view over a freeway.

Amazing service! Amazing hotel!

I travel a lot on business, therefore, the quality of hotel rooms and staff are very important to me. The room in this hotel was the most peaceful I've ever stayed in. Complete silence! No noise from the hallway, street or other rooms. The doors have little doorbells, so there's no rapping in the morning by houskeeping trying to service other rooms while you're trying to sleep. The silence is just amazing. So amazing that I slept 17 straight hours and missed my first day of meetings! I didn't set the alarm because I'm such a light sleeper and knew I'd be awakened by all the normal hotel noise. Ha! Not at this hotel!

In addition to the above, the service is amazing. There was a small problem with the bed sheets which was corrected as soon as I reported it. Not only did they immediately correct this problem, the manager, along with an assistant, tracked me down during lunch to personally apologize and give me her business card in the event there was any other difficulty during my stay. Due to a misunderstanding, they thought I had a problem with my mattress. While I was out at meetings, THEY REMOVED MY MATTRESS AND REPLACED IT WITH A BRAND NEW ONE! Wow.

This hotel is not quite as large and elaborate as some of the others in Singapore, however, if you want a great room, great service and a fair price, this is the place.

Great service

We stayed here with our two kids recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with this hotel. The service was fantastic, and the pool on the roof of the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was well appointed and service again was good. The hotel was located well and was close to the main shopping areas and food markets. We would stay again, and we would gladly recommend this hotel.

A little peace and quiet

I stayed at the hotel when the rest of the city was booked solid. It is not the most flash place, but the service is good and it is clean. The pool on the roof is great and you can get served meals by the pool. Great place to relax after a dy in the city or at a conference. The broadband access is non existant. The buffet breakfast is one the best in SNG. Not my first choice of hotels but certainly a place to stay if you want peace and quiet. 5 minute walk to MRT.

Great location

An excellant hotel, with helpful staff. Our only disappointment was booking a non-smoking room and being allocated a smoking room. We were moved after one night (at our request) but the new room was much smaller. Buffet breakfast was excellant.

Good quality hotel

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Our first impressions were that this was a good quality hotel. The staff were professional. The rooms were clean and maintained to a high standard. The rooftop pool was lovely, as were the gym and sauna etc. Food was good, epecially the Indian restaurant (although we were overcharged). Would recommend this hotel. Very covienient for shopping on the Orchard Rd.

Very Good Hotel

The Holiday Inn Park View is a very good hotel. The position is wonderful, just 50 metres from Orchard Road, which is THE place to be in S'pore !!! Rooms are very big, very clean, with nice furnitures ! Staff very helpful and courteous. The roof-top swimming pool has been recently renovated and it is now a dream !!! Just don't hesitate, if you go in S'pore, book this hotel !!!
