Holiday Inn Select Strongsville

Hello everyone! Sorry it has taken so long for us to write! Once we got home the computer wasn't allowing us to post a new blog!

So we got our visa for Talia at the embassy on November 10th and we immediately contacted our travel agent, Willa at Creative Vacations to see when was the soonest we could leave Ukraine! Willa worked her magic and we flew out of Kiev at 6:30am on November 11th. We flew from Kiev to Paris ...

... too looking at the map that we're pretty much in line with Baltimore to the east of here, which looks to be a good day's drive (probably as far as we came yesterday from Nashville to Grove City), so I'm of half a mind to head that way instead. Hmmm, decisions!!

... time as we can with family and friends.

Anne and Jeff, (Scott's parents) are coming down on Sunday to get the dogs and visit with us so that will be fun! We have Halloween outfits for the dogs even though we won't be here for Halloween. Everyone make sure that Anne and Jeff dress them up so they look pretty for all the Trick ...

... 9th at 4:30pm. Scott and I both plan on working through October 7th so that we have as much time as we can with the children when we get back home. Luckily OSU has been great with both Scott and I in regards to us taking time off.

... very good! Mondays and morning appointments any day are the best from what I hear! Scott and I are just trying to figure out exactly what needs to be done before we leave. I started working on a list last night and it is a bit overwhelming! We are still planning on getting two children as young as possible. Please keep us in your prayers!

... it seems that it is best to get an appointment early in the morning and early during the week such as a Monday or Tues. We have no control over that though, so we will just keep praying that we get a good appointment date/time!

... last bit of it. I at least tried everything that she made, so I was proud of myself. I have to say that I am not really looking forward to the change in food we will have for at least a month. I think I will be visiting the nearest McDonalds frequently!

Scott and I are excited and scared to be traveling to Ukraine to adopt 2 children. We are currently waiting for our paperwork to be submitted to the SDA. Our submission date is 9/7/09. Once our paperwork is submitted we should hear back in about 1 week with an appointment date. Our appointment with the Ukrainian government could be only 3 weeks away!

Ah, Cedarville...

Wait--weren't we just here? Why does it feel like we never quite leave this place?

Oh well, it's okay. We just swung by Cedarville to stay for the weekend, on our way to Pennsylvania. We're staying with the Moore's, visiting the Phipps', bumping into friends, etc.

We're driving right now to Cedarville to stay with Matt and Cindy Moore for a few nights. We'll go to church at Omega to share our wedded bliss with our family there. Mike and Matt will play raquetball. We'll eat and be merry.

Thanks, Lord, for allowing us time to travel and see good friends. Especially since we'll be traveling and don't know when we'll visit again.
