The officer didn't know that it was a summation of 9.5hrs waiting for a delayed flight from Cebu to Manila, 1hr flight to Manila, 7hrs manual check-in at NAIA (because of the blackout), 10.5 hrs flight to Minneapolis and now waiting for 6hrs here at the airport for a 1.5hr flight to Winnipeg. Dan and I are traveling to Munich with 16 other friends to attend Oktoberfest on 9/27/09! I had the opportunity to attend Oktoberfest in Munich with Jan, Rachel and KT in 1999 and it was an experience I won't forget! Now, there are many of us going and my first European vacation with Dan.

We depart at 3:10 pm on 9/25 and arrive in Munich at 8:55 am 9/26.

... for the past 3 months and now I'll have just 4 months to catch up with everyone and then I'll be gone again. But I know they'll all still be here when I get back and thanks to technology, I won't feel too out of touch with everyone in the U.S.
