    ... some delicious choc chip cookies for desert. So so good, warm cookies straight from the oven are the best and there is something in Jyoti's batter that is so tasty. Jyoti and Mitesh generously give up their bed for us and we head to bed happy with tummies full of cookies.

    Day 2: we have a lazy start to the day, more so to catch up on sleep from waking up at 4am from the day before.

    Two days. Two days until I travel halfway around the world for a month. It's kinda hard to believe that it's actually happening this week.

    I remember talking to Kristie about this in January and thinking that this would be such a fun thing to do.

    Now, two days before we leave, it sounds less fun and more stressful.

    Still, even though there are lots of reasons to be apprehensive, we are excited for what adventures lie ahead.

    ... Officers and Sergeants especially, were laid out just as they would have been equipped and furnished way back in 1812 or so ... just the sort of thing I am interested in!

    ... a rebellion if it hadn't been working on this flight as well. We started off watching Labor Day, while eating dinner. Heather and I started to watch Robocop together but I soon fell asleep. I slept on and off for a good six hours or so. I was then awake enough to watch a few more movies. I finished watching Robocop, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and the first 3/4 of Winters Tale.
