... the land was flat with pastures and more regular-shaped agricultural fields (some blackened) with a few copses scattered about. The White River cut its way through a large forested ribbon, the land having been cleared for agriculture on both sides of the swathe.

... the screens in the lobby for a few hours. Poor baby cried and had to be held for most of the morning. I eventually left to return at nap time. These ladies must be magicians because at 12:40 PM, she was sound asleep - that means she only fussed with them for a little bit.
