    ... the lake, but we still couldn’t get phone or WiFi connections!

    We continued our touring into Monroe City. According to the literature we have in our possession, their main claim is a church from 1897with medieval styling and stain glass windows. Well you couldn’t prove it by me, it was closed up tight. Guess we would have to hire it for a wedding or reunion in order to see it.

    ... Tuesday night with just a few drops scattered about, but, it did not stop and increased in intensity during the night. It never was a hard downpour, just constant. Sometimes worse than others. It also was very cool. On Tuesday evening we were able to pull in the local channels via antenna and the weather predicted temps in low to mid 60's.     ... entry. It is very close to Hannibal, MO. We checked in and drove for another two miles to get to our site. We backed into our site and started to hook-up. I put the jacks down and marveled at how much more level we were than while in Sedalia. Plugged the surge protector in and waited for it to do it's thing. It finished and we plugged in the coach. POP, the surge protector went off. We went through the set up again with the same results. ...

    ... casino games, drawings for more door prizes ( I won a digital tire pressure gauge) and they also were playing BINGO, but by the time they were ready to start BINGO, it was almost 10 pm, so we opted not to play tonight.
