The Lincoln Memorial is made primarily of marble and limestone and there are 36 columns around the memorial which represented the states in the Union at the time of Lincoln's death. The Lincoln Memorial is located at one end of the 'Reflecting Pool' and looks back at the Washington Monument. It's a very popular stop for tourists, thats for sure.
