The kids felt the flight to be the start of their international travel since we were flying Jet airlines. Most of the passengers were heading on to Delhi or Mumbai, Graham had the chicken curry for dinner, and they had a good selection of Bollywood films to choose from.
All and all -- a good day. Tired sure. But safely arrived to start again tomorrow.

My visa application went fairly smoothly, thankfully although done by a brusque and unfriendly attendant who told me it wouldn't be ready till the next week, when I had hoped to be in Virginia. Leaving my passport was a bit scary but I knew it had to be done, then off again to find Union Station and a way out to Hamilton where we were staying before the bus left the next day for Manitoulin! Toronto is a really green city with majority of residential streets tree lined which dominates much of the city looking down to it. ... before a final highway drive through Ontario. After some debating we have decided to head west through the US as well. The northern states should provide a nice alternative to the Trans Canada route we took on the way to Toronto. It's all about variety!
First destination tomorrow will most likely be somewhere in Michigan. Today though, a BBQ is abrewin'. A BBQ that may even include downing a drink or two ...
