The plane arrived in Santiago at 2:30am and we did not fancy trawling around hostels for a bed at that time so we walked the very convenient 20 metres from arrivals to the Holiday Inn and settled into our very comfortable room for the night. Not much to say on this one as spent a good proportion of our two days just releaxing at a decent hotel for a change and drinking champers (to celebrate the 16kg package we sent and from Boliva that had arrived home already, yay) and far too many pisco sours - easily our favourite cocktail of South America and quite potent!

Convenient place to stay as we arrived late and departed early the following morning. Clean rooms, friendly service and decent restaurant. Literally across the street from the arrivals gate of the hotel.
