    We are having fun here in greater Sandpoint area with Sraddha's family gathering. An interesting mixture this year with not all of the usual suspects present, for work reasons. What is most interesting is the geographic dispersion of said "herd" into 3 separate places.

    ... amazing scenery all day. Hard to believe there hasn't been a boring drive yet and only 2 days of this part to go. We are staying tonight near Sandpoint at Ponderay in Idaho and drove to Sandpoint for a meal. It is beautiful right on the lake with thousands of people picnicking and swimming waiting for the 4th of July fireworks when it gets dark so very late as we are far north and the sun sets late ...

    ... fire going. I also had brought some Coca Tea that I still have from Peru with. We all enjoyed some coca tea and relaxed a bit. I also had a bottle of Merlot I carried up. It took a while to figure out how to open it without a corkscrew but eventually I got it. We all enjoyed the soothing red wine around the campfire. Not much later we called it a night and hit the hay.

    ... it reminded me of San Diego mexican food. He said they were from SD and their dad was the former catering mgr. for a place I used to go in SD called Old Towne Mexican Cafe.
