      We are having fun here in greater Sandpoint area with Sraddha's family gathering. An interesting mixture this year with not all of the usual suspects present, for work reasons. What is most interesting is the geographic dispersion of said "herd" into 3 separate places.

      ... amazing scenery all day. Hard to believe there hasn't been a boring drive yet and only 2 days of this part to go. We are staying tonight near Sandpoint at Ponderay in Idaho and drove to Sandpoint for a meal. It is beautiful right on the lake with thousands of people picnicking and swimming waiting for the 4th of July fireworks when it gets dark so very late as we are far north and the sun sets late ...

      ... gathering place on hot days. It was only in the mid seventies, so just a few dogs and brave individuals approached the streaming water.

      Stella came with us and we moved on to City Beach for Lunch. It’s located right off the main drag. It’s a nice sandy beach on the lake. We lunched over cheese, crackers and some great jalapeņo chips. Stella’s family showed up later and we had a nice visit.

      ... flip
      flops got pulled off my foot. I desperately tried to run down stream
      to retrieve it but it was a wasted effort. That flip flop was long
      gone. I went back to get my gym shoes to be able to walk thru the
      rocky waters. As I returned I found the guys across the river. I
      also came to find that Andrew also lost one of his flip flops. He
      was pretty ****** also.
