The dock-job (the Beach Gang) in South Naknek didn't work out in my favor. I managed to stick it out for 3 weeks. The HR department in Seattle seem to omit the details of my position, meaning i had signed up for trash duty for the entire summer. The trip wasn't a complete flop.......it had its highlights. Today we got up pretty early and spent the day the the San Diego Zoo. This is definitely the best zoo I have ever been to! The morning was beautiful, and all of the animals were out. Highlights were the polar bears (we got an awesome close-up view), the chimps (the babies were out playing in the morning), and the giraffes. as we were getting off the airplane in san diego i lost my earring. but was able to get into the palne to get it. it's 2 hours behind us. jeff and i are missing 3 days of school. wooo hoooooooo! we rented a small red (rojo) car. it was pouring here. it seems like it always happens to us. we got the hotel. the first room was so bad. we got new rooms.
