Had a great day at the zoo. Zoo is fantastically well organised, started off with a bus tour of the zoo which gave you a great overview of where everything is. We then worked our way through the reptiles, insects and children's petting area to the sky rail. We then caught the sky rail up to other end of the zoo, to see polar bears, panda, orangutan, gorillas etc, they all put on a pretty ...

A fun night but not long until we go home now and we are all getting a bit sad about ...

... cream shops we passed, and we ended up settling on a patch of grass to watch the fireworks with our sandwiches and our wine.

The fireworks was spectacular! We turned out to have picked a pretty great spot to view it and the acoustics of the surrounding buildings added some extra surround sounds to the show. And we finally made it home we topped off the day with some home-made ice-cream cones. I couldn't have wished for a better 4th of July celebration.

Another slight glitch

... have different merchandise. Most of it was Mexican inspired as the Mexicans were the first to come to this part of America (after the native Americans). All the buildings were built in the adobe style and there were many historic places to see.

Hopefully Mercina will be better tomorrow and we can carry on. If not, there are two swimmings pools, two spa pools and a beach for us to explore.
