Travel Blogs from San Diego
It's 6:52am as we push back from the gate for our 5hr and 47min flight from San Diego to Maui. These early-morning and lengthy travel days always seem to keep the bleary-eyed traveler on their toes and this one has already proven to be no exception. Just getting to "A Whale's Vagina" (thank you Ron Burgundy) from Denver was an exercise in anxiety management. Arrived in San Diego mid afternoon, and it was sweltering! Had a decent room in a downtown hotel near the bay. Seeing as I'd not had a proper drink for a while, I got my glad rags on and headed out to a bar called Urban mo's. Of course wouldn't you know ...
