... TX accept you replace the oil rigs with dust devils. The one cool scenery I had was when I hit the sand dunes about 100 miles from SD on either side of me were 50 foot plus high sand dunes - I felt as if I was riding through the Sahara! Not sure but I think it was the Anza-Borrego desert. The cross winds were pretty fierce as well and a couple of times I had to fight to keep my lane. ... 30th October) Our hostel was disgusting but was right on the beach! The first night was so much fun, me, Sam and Tim attempted to become wizards (it's a drinking game, google it)! The second night was Halloween, which was quite good but the hostel didn't do much for it surprisingly but there was a big group of us so we made the most of it! ... a bit and then played in the sand - even burying Sean up to his neck - luckily there were no bees on the beach this time!
