St. George, Utah, United States scher-airA little state park in Utah. Not much to see by car, as most "attractions" are reached only by hiking a trail. We did the Petrified Dunes trail, as it is the "famous" view of Snow Canyon.

Initially, I wondered what on earth made the dunes so scared, i.e. petrified? And how could they tell that the dunes ...

We did the Queens Walk and Navajo Loop up through Wall Street. It was really spectacular and well worth the walk. It was a busy trail but we were distracted from the people by the beauty. After the walk we went for a drive to Inspiration Point, Bryce Point, Paria View and on down to ...
Hurricane, Utah, United States usa2009aswmI was signed myself up with one whole month at Fitness Ridge, really not knowing what to expect. There were some difficult days and there were some amazing days. The scenery is absolutely breath taking and the staff at Fitness Ridge are incredible. I also met a great deal of cool people and made lots of friends. Overall, I lost 24 pounds in 28 days! And, have amazing pictures hiking through the mountains of Southern Utah! Super fun!

Virgin, Utah, United States fossilfuelfree... us to check out the route we would take in the RV later that week. There's a pretty steep grade on the east side of Hurricane, so we realized it would be better to not hook up the SUV until past the grade. On Wednesday 10/8, we drove up to another part of the Zion National Park called Kolob Canyons. The Kolob Canyons have their own Interstate 15 exit at mile ...
St. George, Utah, United States chictravelers2... vores hotel de næste 2 nætter (heldigvis varer en adgangsbillet i 7 dage). Vi ville have taget nogle billeder af de enorme klippeformationer (ja her er mange sten), men det regnede alt for meget. Istedet filmede vi lidt, som I kan se når vi kommer hjem. Hurricane, Utah, United States sussiogthomas... expanded and prospered. Utah's secrets have been opened up and now it is also and especially tourists who undertake arduous journeys into its wilds. but there are still high and lonely places where one can peer into ones own destiny and mutter proclamation and prophesy. despite the flows of human traffic and the many feet that have worn away at its wilderness Utah remains a places of boundless potential, and great emptinesses with unfulfilled promises inscribed into their stoney faces.
St. George, Utah, United States philiad... motel called the Number 9 and ate at a resturant up the road, a great Mexican meal, real spicy. We went through Yosemite the following day seeing ice capped mountains, frozen lakes huge trees and also saw a wild bear in the forest. Stayed just on the west side of Yosemite in a town called Groveland. Set out the following day for San Fransico.
