    Totally Screwed Up Reservation

    Reviewed Apr 26, 2014

We will not stay here again! Mixed up our reservations, despite follow up phone calls, double charged the credit cards, no tissue in room, phone didn't work, ice machine on floor didn't work, and door to room stuck - had to shove open and slam shut. Management was very lackadaisial about it - his attitude was that is just the way it is.

By the way, for all of you food geeks out there, we had a cheese and tomato omelet for breakfast and a great egg salad san for lunch. Life is good when one can eat well. The highlight was the early morning walk along the Red Reef Trail, which we had to ourselves until we started our way back. Quite stunning!

We parked at the colony, and walked around. There are artists' co-ops as well as individual studios/galleries. There was the full range of artistic expression, from oils to metal to pottery. The artists in the galleries are well known and the prices were indicative of that fact. There are lots of benches and chairs to sit on under the shade of trees and just enjoy the ...
