          Totally Screwed Up Reservation

We will not stay here again! Mixed up our reservations, despite follow up phone calls, double charged the credit cards, no tissue in room, phone didn't work, ice machine on floor didn't work, and door to room stuck - had to shove open and slam shut. Management was very lackadaisial about it - his attitude was that is just the way it is.

... amazement at how big and beautiful our nation is. This week we toured two national parks (Arches and Zion) and we are starting to feel like we are quite a ways away from home.

From Denver we traveled on to Moab, UT, where our friend Delite runs the Moab Youth Garden Project. Annie and I worked with Delite at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, and we haven’t seen her since then. As the timing went, Delite and Ann just got married four days before we arrived ...

... Wasatch Mountain Range. Nebo Peak, is the highest @ 11,928' and most southern part of the Wasatch Range. In Provo I also took a beautiful picture of Twin Peaks. You could see all seven peaks. The Wasatch Mountain Range overlooked Provo - a big city offering hiking and skiing in the mountains. Funny how going north on Freeway 15 has been a whole ...

... off as much as you want. John and I think this is the greatest idea. This controls the crowds and the traffic. When we were at Yellowstone last year the traffic was terrible and people would just stop in the middle of a road to see a site or an animal. I wish they would provide the buses there. They do this in Denali in Alaska also and it just makes for a nicer visit. By the way, if you are 62 or older you can buy a lifetime park pass for ...

... grill, but we were surprised and lucky that is was the roof-mounted AC cover that had deteriorated and then exploded into hundreds of pieces when it hit the pavement. Good start.... We made some calls whenever we had cell service to find a new cover and found that it wasn't likely to happen in Vegas and that it would probably be okay to travel like that and pick one up later.

Only an hour or two later we found that the scooter ...

We found St. George church easily and it has a really pretty statue of Mary on the side. The 11am mass was well attended and they had a visiting priest from California that weekend. He was very nice and gave a great ...
