A lovely day -- with an easy drive out to Sacramento, a good day visiting Sac State (which is a very pretty campus, especially this time of year, with the leaves changing), then an easy drive home. Definitely a long day, and I was exhausted by the end of it, but not a bad one at all.<br>

Sacramento, California, United States jillserjeant... Our kind and gracious host, Rino, arrived to welcome us, damp and pink-cheeked from the heat of the day, shortly after we arrived around 3 pm. He told us that they were doing some renovations on the place before we arrived, as well as after we leave, so he had not booked any other guests. We have the house, gardens, grounds, incredible view and best of all The Swimming Pool, all to ourselves. The pool is set in a garden of fragrant ...
