This hotel is reasonably priced and only two blocks from the Rotterdam HBF. There is no restaurant onsite so we bought some of their instant food sold at the desk for our dinner. They did have a nice breakfast in the morning. The room was spacious and quite satisfactory.

We get up for the final time before moving to the ship. Mom's excited about not having to move the suitcases around anymore. She's excited? I'm ecstatic! Karen has a hard time pushing hers around. It gets caught on cobblestones, curbs and train tracks. I tell her to push it at the bottom with her foot but she struggles. I'm glad to see them go. We …

Unfortunately, it will take three different trains to get us all the way to our final destination. Our first leg takes us from Hamburg to Osnabruck, about two hours. We …

... br> It was so nice to be surrounded by circus again...I don't know why i like the industry so much. The people just...they are kind.

It was then back to the hostel for me, with a slight diversion to swap bikes back to the one i didn't fit properly...

I didn't have long at the hostel though. I went to dinner with my new friend and then went to see another circus show.

Sadly, this one was not as great as i wished it to ...

Rotterdam- Week 13

... t know a single word in Bulgarian, but I had never even learned the word for Bulgarian in Spanish, thinking I would never actually need to use this word in my lifetime.

I helped out the Bulgarians by taking their tickets with me to the large line of people waiting to see what flight we were all on. I got the bad news first when the lady told me I was randomly assigned for the 8:30pm flight, but then even worse, the woman told me that the Bulgarians were placed on the 5:00 ...

Weighing up the Witches

... and hundreds of women, and some men, lost their lives in terrible way, damned as Witches. This town had decided that Witches, being in league with the devil, had no earthly weight to them which allowed them to fly on broomsticks. The town council would officially certificate any man or woman who would submit to the scales test to prove that they were not "light weight" and therefore not witches. The scales were normally used for weighing cheese and hemp ...
