    ... of Savannah. He took us into some old alleys, upstairs in old buildings and into gardens. Our tour guide was dressed in a top hat, tails and carried a walking stick. He definitely believed in the "paranormal." We didn't see anything, but got some good stories!

    ... that ensued, the book paints a colourful picture of the city and its sights and the description of Bonaventure Cemetery particularly caught my imagination. My host duly drove around the huge cemetery which was once a plantation and it was one of the most beautiful, peaceful places I've ever been, lined with endless avenues of azaleas, camellias and of course the Spanish moss draped trees.     ... up but we saw four cars on the shoulder of the hwy driving through the US on day one of our trip. No one was in them but they all had plastic shopping bags hanging out the driver side window. What does that mean?

    Today we went on a tour of Savannah and had a great tour guide. The staff at the hotel saved us $30.00 by telling us to go with a different tour company then we were going to, which was great for us!
