    Savannah to Bahamas - route plan

    We are leaving Savannah, GA today and sailing directly to the North Central Bahamas.

    For those who are interested in a little "nuts and bolts" passage planning - Here is a link to a video of our weather router (Chris Parker) recorded this morning. I ask Chris to comment on our plan.

    ... blocks were to be used for residential purposes and trust lots would serve as the sites of civic and commercial structures. The city was expanded by replicating the pattern. Today, Savannah consists of 22 squares, each surrounded by 8 blocks.

    Tomorrow, we plan to walk around the city and visit some of the squares and famous houses. More news and pictures to follow!

    ... where"Jenny" worked was one from here as well, the yanks certainly do use their movies in all their tours. They have these interesting trees here with moss coming down off them, apparently it's from the pineapple plantations and when blown by the wind it clings to the trees and stays there making them look kinda spooky.   • Bench from Forest Gump-This is in a little park area in downtown. Forrest wasn't there so I wasn't impressed.
  • Forsyth Park-downtown and just as pretty as everything else in Savannah
