... just wanted to talk a lot more. I tried to take a little nap, but couldn't fall asleep. Around 6:30, I started to Wizards live game feed for the playoffs, and it turned out to be a great game. It goes into overtime after the Wizards crawl their way back in, and cool down the Bulls. What a crazy game! The Wizards pull out a gritty overtime win, comes back to DC with a 2-0 lead in the ...
More gorgeous driving through lush pine forests, then into the desert, over the hills and back into more lush forests of Oregon before reaching east Portland. Fred and Charlene's family were sitting in one of the front rows, gosh, I prefer to hide behind a pillar when I am in a church, but, well, I survived ;-)
... sick, we have these wonderful discussions, about politics, the old days... He showed me a scrapbook he made as a private in Germany, in the 50's, and I loved to read his travel stories all over Europe! He tries to motivate me to write my travel stories too, and get them published ;-) I have sometimes been thinking the same, you know, eventually with drawings, some kind of travel diary, but, well, I never really took these thoughts seriously. Maybe I should??
