Arrived at Outdoor Resort St. Lucie West, Port St. Lucie FL. Home for the next month. A beautiful place, I have never seen so many Prevosts in one place!! We have a nice spot overlooking a small lake, with a lighted fountain. Have seen large turtles but no gators. Larrys cousin Bob & Shirley have a place here as do their friends Ton & Sandy. ... can take a nature cruise but we opted out of it. It's family friendly activity but without the large production and crowds like many other Florida sites.

Two interesting facts I learned today:
1) Manatees do not have bone marrows except in their chest plate. The bones are heavy to counter act their large lung capacity so manatees can take a large breaths of air to swim to the bottom.
