To make our last day extra special Sydney decided to wipe away the clouds and presented us with a full day of sunshine, clear sky's and 29 degree heat. To make the most of the beautiful weather we got up early and made our way to Circular Quay to board the ferry to Manly Beach. Not feeling a 100% when I woke up today, could have done without the early start and the 35 degree heat at 8am. Really good night out last night, first proper blow out in ages, very different from the first few weeks of the trip, wish we could go back to Africa prices though. This morning we went to The Rocks for breakfast and to look round the markets, it's one of the oldest parts of the city and you can get to it through this tunnel which the convicts dug out using their hands ...
... of going to Europe and finding a handsome (and maybe rich?) husband there. After dinner we stopped at a nightclub, but it was still pretty empty, then we tried to go to a rooftop bar but they were closing so we had a quick drink inside listening to classic rock, then walked back down the street to our apartment. Tomorrow we plan to finally go to Sydney Harbour! Maybe a ferry ride, and dinner at the Opera ...

From here we grabbed a couple of the free hot dogs on offer from the hostel and returned to our little apartment area armed with a case of goon. The next two days proceeded in a very similar fashion and before we knew it we were on our way to the much more backpacker centered Byron Bay.
