... to the stairs. The waterfall was beautiful and made the site look wonderful. This waterfall was definately Environmental Determinism after the plants and wildlife came to grow around the landmark. People stopped trying to build other landmarks around it after these were already put in and had plants growing around them. Nature had taken over the stairs and made them a source for humans to develop around. After exploring the waterfall and leaving the site there was a straw market going ...

... comes as no surprise to locals and guests alike.

Seafood, of course, is a popular item. Tourists and locals both enjoy crawfish, conch, land crabs, and fish such as grouper, yellowtail and red snapper. For breakfast, boiled fish and grits are a favourite, as is homemade island bread. And of course there is the duty free shopping!! If you are after a diamond, apparently, this is the place to come (Carribean).!!

... When I got down there I realized they were not open yet and had to go back out and get in line. So much for being early.

Dinner was good but we had to be quick as we were going to the Orpheum Theater to see the Broadway review. We got pretty good seats and the show was really enjoyable. Before the show started, Captain Gus came out and talked to us and then he played the trumpet. Pretty talented. Time for the show. They performed music ...

... We head along the beach to the very end thinking it will be quieter and more secluded here. We are correct for the most part until other guests from the Disney Dream cruise ship arrive meaning space is at a premium. We take a swim in the cool bahamian waters which is very refreshing. Peters gets some mudslide cocktails which are delicious (and potent). We relax for the rest of the morning listening to music and enjoying the sunshine. It's the first real ...
