... and I know I’m going to have a good night’s sleep. I’m heading off to Paraty tomorrow morning, and will hopefully be meeting Graeme and Hillary at the bus terminal. We were all a bit buzzed tonight though, so it will all depend on how they’re feeling in the morning. But I already have my hotel in Paraty booked, so I’m definitely going. And I’m ready to get out of this big city and enjoy some time on the beach ...

Apart from good views of the city's high skyline and the lakes and forests in the park, the park is home to a number of museums, including a number of art museums. The most well-known of these is the MAM (Museum of Modern Art); however the building appeared to be closed on both days that we tried to visit. In the end, we settled for the much smaller MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art) which, due to a broken ...

However we had about 2 drinks and then after a hilarious pool game and getting the locals to do an OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE chant we called it a night. Good day in São Paulo finally! Hiya Julian :P here's your shoutout and thanks for reading my blog ...

After an 8 hour flight from Miami, we arrived at Sao Paulo GRU International Airport at 5:30 am.This international airport needs major work. Almost no one speaks English and the signage is horrible. Unloading baggage took over 1 hour and many passengers missed connecting flights. We were told that this is not unusual. Fortunately our flight to Iguassu had been rescheduled ...

... the US. So, a little adjustment needed going forward. All of us were full of meat, but I had a veal dish anyway. It was very good.

We walked for about 40 minutes looking for this restauraunt but we were back to the hotel in 10 minutes. It was almost a straight shot down Paulista Ave so even though it was late in the evening, I thought it was pretty safe. Not to mention, this street has such big police presence.

      Time to sleep!
