    ... after everyone else's. Just as we were leaving, the heavens opened up. The waitress told us we could keep our table until it stopped. Fortunately, it didn't last long, even though the radar didn't look promising.

    Always a favorite pastime with the girls, especially when they have money in their pockets, we roamed the shops of St. George St to do some shopping. You can't have too many T-shirts!

    ... Monterey as a city full of history. I had no idea how much history was packed into this one little town of St. Augustine.     We left Faver-Dykes Campground reluctantly yesterday. It's such a beautiful, quiet spot to be. The weather was good and we saw lots of new things there.

    We stopped off in Palatka for some routine lab work, which went quickly and smoothly, in fact, better than anywhere we've ever seen. No slow, lackadaisical southerners at that place!
