... at a baseball game is almost kind of odd. It was a good game to start - Reds were up 8 runs by the second inning. Then Jumbo Diaz, a new Reds pitcher, made his major league debut. Things kind of fell apart after that, much to the delight of the Jays fans. Although the Reds didn't win, we still had a great time and the fireworks display afterwards were epic! ... Maggie's Ph.D. that makes this such a great time for extended travel. We will be moving to Columbia, SC upon our return, where Maggie will be doing a post doc and I will be starting a new job. We couldn't imagine a better time to walk away from our daily lives for a couple of months and to make our first trip overseas.
