Oh, and some other quite exciting news... I'm going to Russia next Tuesday! How about that?! The ESN (Erasmus Student Network) organises several trips and one of them includes a trip to Moscow and St Petersberg. The trip will last from 23-29th October and there will be about 30 exchange students attending the organised trip. After our bus trip from Oulu to Helsinki we will travel by boat to St Petersburg by the Ferry ...
... in a really small room so you're kind've forced to talk! What was the most fun was jumping into the lake between intervals of being in the sauna! After deciding we were almost toasted, we would run down the pier and climb as fast as we could down the ladder to the lake... it was FREEZING! But you felt so good afterwards. Did I mention that there was no running water at the cottages? To shower, we bascially mixed boiling water with freezing water and tipped buckets of water ...
... be an ESN organised "Mokki" trip. Mokki is another Finnish word and translates to "cottage". Basically there will be 44 exchange students going, lots of ESN leaders.. and we will be in the middle of nowhere for two nights. No toilets, no showers... remind me why I signed up for this again?! No, it will be a great weekend filled with bonfires, sauna, lake swimming(!!!!), hiking and games. I can't wait :)
