... of the best sites of the trip so far. It was a series of 1.25% larger than life bronze sculptures of a pioneer wagon train. It was so realistic Peg had to go up and feel the harness on the horses to make sure it was bronze not leather. The detail and variety of figures from oxen to mules to the wagons and the people was just astounding. Seeing these figures juxtaposed against the modern city buildings was surrealistic. .

Spent the night in the Cracker Barrel in Council Bluffs. Breakfast there. Headed to Horseshoe Casino. Had a good time there. Ate at the Binion. Played for awhile. Somehow with ...

I had the whole trout with dill and Peg had the crawfish ettouffe, a traditional Cajun dish. Delicious. ...

... we are seeing more and more large commercial grain elevators. The few farms we did see with grain storage had pigs or beef cattle. In the photos Peg shot what she thought was a large grain elevator and later saw one much bigger. Also got a photo of a grain truck being filled with a giant bucket loader.

It was uncomfortable opening the windows when we wanted to take photos as the whole atmosphere is hazed with smoke from wildfires that are occurring in Canada. The sun ...

If there could be a group with stands on the issues closer to mine, I can't imagine any group closer than the Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom.

We agree that this country does not have a revenue problem -- it has a spending problem.

We agree that the best way to get the economy going again and create more new, good jobs is to rein ...
