    ... been featured on Food Network (one of my fave TV channels) so that made it even more special. It was a quinessential old style diner and, as we have noticed every where in the South, the people were so friendly and enjoyed chatting with us. They always want to know where "ya'all" are from and headed :) It was another perfect Historic Route 66 moment!

    We enjoyed the rolling hills of Oklahoma noticed it had the beautiful red soil like Georgia and Kaua'i.

    ... many miles. I was happy to get off the interstate anyway and decided to stay on the 70 until I had to get back on 40. The route took us through many small farm towns on a pretty nice two lane road. It was slower going, but like I said, we weren’t in any hurry.

    ... the 2 people coming in at 4:30! Waiting around for the next 2 hours was not on my agenda so taxi it is!!! If in Prague use the AAA taxi.... No ripoff!! So will b asking for a refund!!! What is up with me and the transfers! Finally met up with the group for a walk to the big mall here and a drink!
