It was a long night with the storm having us worried. Anyway we get up and going as today we are heading into Oklahoma City then onto to Red Rock State Park about an hour west of the city.

Today's main stop is the Cowboy Museum. As usual we plan to be done in 2hours and it ends up taking us nearly twice as long. But while we are there we find out from a local a great place to buy a good belt for ...

... We also drop in at the American Pigeon Museum for a quick photo, simply because it actually exists. After a late lunch we spent the rest of the late afternoon and early evening at the The Oklahoma City National Memorial which is a memorial that honors the victims, survivors, rescuers, and all who were affected by the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. The photos do not do just to the beauty of this ...

... at our campground – free cookies on arrival and free breakfast in the morning. Nice one. Despite the free breakfast, we were now heading against the time zones and would begin losing an hour every couple of days, making my mornings even earlier. I hate early mornings.

Friday was spent overnight at a ranch in Texas. Unfortunately, because we had a long day of driving, we didn’t get to see much of the state. Saturday night ...
