The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was first rate. Nice and convenient for access to Sea World.

The natural formations were both beautiful and mysterious and the pale, emerald-green pools reflected their erie forms. I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Any day above ground is a good day." Well, we had a very good day below ground.

San Antonio part 2: Today I wandered off the key tourist spots, but still along San Antonio's Riverwalk.
On the way to a Mexican hot spot, I stopped at the Spanish Governor's Palace built in the Adobe style of architecture. Then, I found a charity second hand shop. In case, I run out of proper clothes, there I find everything I need for about 3.99 USD a piece. Lunch has happend at a Mexican restaurant (see separate entry on food).

Now for lunch and dinner you can choose between Mexican or Texas BBQ. Mexican
basically means tacos or enchiladas, both always served with rice and black
beans. BBQ options are steak or ribs.

We parked our van out the front of their house and hung out and showered inside for a couple of nights. There was a free concert down the road, Shakespeare in the park, so we took some drinks and nibbles and ...

... thought too. Completely different to what I expected form the descriptions - I was expecting Southbank in Melbourne, that type of thing. But it was very European and beautiful. We had a nice Mexican dinner (Mexican again I know) and had an early/quiet night. I'm currently on the bus driving through Texas on the way to Carlsbad. Austin and San Antonio were both completely different cities to what I expected for Texas. I was ...
