The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was first rate. Nice and convenient for access to Sea World.

    Lunch

... was right at lunchtime . Fairly large dining area inside and al fresco with a nice view of the river. Everyone's casually dressed and very laid back, very at ease atmosphere. Sonya arrives looking great as usual. Smiling, excited, eager and hungry all in one. We get seated and order lemonade, really good stuff, and she tells me what she's ordered in her previous visits. I study the menu and choose something not on the menu! Chicken enchiladas with mołe sauce on top. ...

6th-7th August Not a great deal to talk about after yesterday as it was a driving day, we drove from New Mexico into Texas, and drove down to San Antonio, a fairly uneventful drive. On interstate 10 just outside New Orleans there was a broken down car on the hard shoulder it had been jacked up on bricks with all its wheels missing and if we had stayed in the first motel we found I'm sure my bike would of gone missing.Heading off for Texas we found some fairly good roads not only were they twisty but also hilly which made a very pleasant change from the flat ...

... to Walmart where Jenn scored a Microsoft “surface” for only $US340! As the checkout queues were long, we ditched the rest of our intended purchases and dashed off to mass at the Cathedral. The exterior of Immaculate Conception Cathedral was plain red brick and a most uninspiring design. Inside was a most magnificent cathedral with a well-integrated design and many impressive features – beautiful stained-glass ...

While on our way home from the last rally, the medicine cabinet door fell off again. The mirror also fell off, but surprisingly it did not shatter. Don't know what CW or THOR will do with it, but personally I want the medicine cabinet replaced. They will not replace the couch/recliner because they said someone had to have jumped on it or someone very heavy ...
