... enjoyed touring Nuremberg. We drove through the Nazi party rallying spot called Zeppelin Field, and saw where Hitler gave many of his speeches at Congress Hall. Our tour guide was a cute young guy who was just about to become a teacher! His name was Patrick, so I instantly liked him :) He told us that the Germans refer to that period of time in their history as the Nazi period and that it was the Nazis, not the Germans, who were ...

Weather sunny and mild. We left Glattfelden at 930am to Schwabach. Experience the Autobahn in Germany with no speed limit, some cars went really fast, 180/200km. I sat at around 140 which is pretty fast! Traffic was good and we arrived at Schwabach about 3 pm. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express which is just ...

It connects 14 European cities and can carry ships with a capacity of up to 3,500 metric tons and consists of 16 locks, the largest of which is 81 feet. It is 39 feet wide and our ship is 38 feet wide. It has been an interesting time so ...

... a parking garage before the hordes of people came to watch. It was crazy! The path involved starting out at the top of the hill where the castle was, going into a building to the top floor, jumping out of the building onto a ramp and then doing various ramps and jumps to the finish in the square. We signed up for a walking tour which was a challenge for the guide in the ...

... on the ship, before another six course meal tonight. Just a quick word about my health - I am finding it easier and easier to get around as the tour progresses, even getting in and out of buses is getting easier. Even with all the food that we are eating, my jeans are actually getting looser! Maybe there is something in this exercise thing after ...
