... my friend Mirela did a roadtrip and ended up there for two days, which definetly wasn't enough. Can't wait to explore more of the beautiful country and hopefully, of the places around it. Anywayyys... until that happens, I gotta take care of a few little ''small'' things and try to keep my excitement to a moderate level.

We finished the tour with gingerbread and coffee in a Bier Hall in the city. The gingerbread (called Elisen Lebkuchen' is famous in Nuremeberg. It is a light, heavily spiced sweet flat biscuit often coated in chocolate.

Unfortunately most of the stuff the guide told me really didn't stick, a lot of dates and family trees. She did tell me about the process of becoming a bishop and the 7 electors who elect the new bishop.

From the Residenz i went to Kloster St Michael. This was up the hill at the top of Bamberg. I found it ...

... in the castle. We also went on another ride that took us up a steep incline and to finish came splashing down a steep slope into a lake to finish. I bought a lego Star Wars set. Julia and I also got to make up 3 of our own mini figures in the Lego brick shop. The shop had bins with all kinds and colours of lego. We also toured a mini lego factory that explained how lego bricks are made and we left with a souvenir brick".
