Today we spent most of the day travelling south to Blountville, just over the border into Tennessee. The journey through the Appalachian Mountains was very picturesque and the landscape reminded us of travelling up the Pacific Highway towards Port Macquarie.The roads here are amazing with at least two lanes, if not three, each way even in country areas of the state.
