I started this journey from home at 10:15 am, being picked up by the Act II shuttle. After picking up another traveler, we headed for O'Hare airport, arriving about 2:30 pm. That trip and check-in were uneventful. Since my flight wasn't scheduled to leave until 6:20, I walked the concourses for a while, had a snack, then ...
... the Herbert Hoover Library, we are headed for Missouri Valley, IA. Weather has been wonderful, and we are hoping that the weather won't turn ugly as we head West.

Got up this morning ready for our next leg of the journey. We should end up somewhere near ...
... signal makes a dull flash when the left turning signal is on....so off the Hitch House we went. The mechanic came out to have a look and after a couple of tests, he concluded the issue was our trailer not our truck (phew!). The fix would be about 6 hours and $300, but could not be guaranteed and his manager said they wouldn’t touch it. We made an executive decision to push onwards and to only drive during the day when the flashing is not so noticeable.
