I was really excited for Cajun country. I was sure I was going to get to speak French. And I LOVE speaking French and to think I could possible speak French in America of all places. Amazing. So we rolled into Houma and asked for a recommendation on breakfast. We were told the Bayou Cane Café had excellent beignets and coffee. Well what more could you ask for in life.
