... later our dreams at night. We watched as the sky changed from the palest blue-grey in Indiana, to the bright azure of New Mexico. There, we breathed in the coolest, cleanest, driest air ever.

Day 3 we pick up DJ. DJ had a good time at the clinic making lots of new friends.
Day 4 - we start catching up on our blog and reviewing all of our pictures. Now its time to mow the lawn and water the new grass.
... Repacking the lenses and camera bodies is a slooooooooooooow, tedious process - not helped when other people are impatiently waiting while trying to get through the same security line.
Flight leaves at 19:15 - next stop Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
Finally - able to stretch our legs and take a hot shower - tomorrow morning we'll meet the resto fo the group and plan for a day in Johannesburg.
... people asked me on the street in French for the way. Luckily I got a map on me. It is hard to speak it again but I can understand a bit, well one word out of 10 :)
Of course you need to eat a crepe and the best ones are in Chez Susanne in Old Montreal near Notre Dame. There is also Poutine, french fries with gravy and cheese which I still need to try.
... and we had to wait a little bit for a table. Their speciality was obviously chocolate and sweets, but they also did savory meals. Trish and I both had the ham, cheese and spinach buckwheat crepe, and "the sundae" for dessert. It had banana, strawberries, icecream, cream and broken up cookie in it, yum! What a small world when you can meet up with people through connections in Australia in Montreal! A nice night! After dinner we headed back to the apartment on the ...
