Montreal, Quebec, Canada eloise75... home around 6:30 pm. and it took almost another hour to unload the van. LOL! Tomorrow we get Charlie and Merlin back and normal life resumes....more or less :o)

What a fantastic trip this was! After all was said and done, we drove 12,151 Kms in 29 days. Spent $1485.63 in gas for 1453.695 litres at an average of $1.022/litre. Not bad considering the cost had gone as high as 1.149 before ...
Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada mady142... be traveling in a 2004 Grand Caravan that has been given a clean bill of health. Preparation started as early as January. The budget had to be made. The dates I've chosen center around being in Calgary for the Stampede as well as having the kids back in time to vacation with their Dads yet not pushing us to do this too fast. We'll ...
Montreal, Quebec, Canada anaisetmat... good times, but it's already starting to get a little boring for me. I danced a little, but couldn't really get into it as much as I did last time. There were lots of hippies, a free hugs line up, which we gladly took advantage of, and also some breakdancers and hacky-sackers. The usual suspects. Luca, Andrew and I were starting to get hungry for lunch/dinner and earlier Luca had expressed an interest in eating a Montreal smoked meat ...
Montreal, Quebec, Canada starlagurl... since there would inevitably be no street parties. Pierre recommended The Loft, but I said Tokyo. Sam and I went back to Mandy's house and I played with Mandy's really cute black lab/cocker spaniel puppy while they got all dressed up in pretty clothes. Maverick, on the other hand, had a lot of fun completely terrorizing my shirt sleeves and gnawing at the bottom of my pants. So, we drove back downtown to The Loft and everybody else was in a HUGE line, full of 18 year ...
Montreal, Quebec, Canada starlagurl... playing the same haunting music. The cafes were packed, and I kept walking to the Bonsecours's Market and then up to Hotel de Ville. Suddenly, I was overtaken by an irresistible urge to find the Champ-de-Mars Metro station and ride to Rue Saint-Denis to look for dinner ...
Montreal, Quebec, Canada pergo... next day we headed to the Olympic Park on the otherside of Montreal (Montreal held the olympics in 1976). Here we had a guided tour of the stadium and swimming centre. The stadium has been completely changed and now they hold trade shows. concerts, and raves there. We were all wuite gutted to find out there was a rave occuring this sunday when we would be in Quebec City! Next we went up the highest inclining tower in the world, pretty impressive architecturally ...
