Yesterday involved a trip to Clinton and lunch with Brother Steve. We said our goodbyes and headed out to do some grocery shopping. We passed a church with a tractor parked out front with one of those giant circular hay bales on the front fork and a flatbed trailer decorated with greenery. I can only assume the deceased was a farmer and the tractor would take him to his final resting place. I ...

One of the newer National Parks is near Columbia and we decided to drive on over. Congaree National Park became a NP in 2003. There is a Visitor Center, primitive camping and a number of trails. After the tour, we drove up to Croft State Park. Our current plan, is to stay here until the 30th and then move up to Croft, which is near Spartanburg. We just want to hang out for a bit and see the sites. I also want to see some family members. We will hide out at Croft until after the 4th of July weekend is over.
