<br>I'm frantically trying to work through my 3 page list of things to do before I go. Setting up a travel blog was one of the things on my list. Hopefully this will work as a great way to share stories and photos will all our friends and family back home. This seems pretty easy so far. ... It is Las Vegas after all. Going to be staying for 7 nights and I am bringing a good friend of mine. We hope to gamble the nights away and take in some of those girly shows. Sounds like fun! Wish me luck<br>

Dan and I are traveling to Munich with 16 other friends to attend Oktoberfest on 9/27/09! I had the opportunity to attend Oktoberfest in Munich with Jan, Rachel and KT in 1999 and it was an experience I won't forget! Now, there are many of us going and my first European vacation with Dan. <br><br>We depart at 3:10 pm on 9/25 and arrive in Munich at 8:55 am 9/26.<br>

... are stunning. And, I hadn't thought of this, but Deann has three rhubarb plants as greenery in the front yard. She pulls stalks as she needs them and other wise the plants provide ground cover and texture. Nice idea. I plan to be here for several days, not sure how long as yet. It will depend partly on how quickly Deann gets her feet under her and can be more independent. As of now, I plan to be back at home by the 10th of June.

Today we were off to Northfield for Mom and Dad's annual party.  We figured that we have been doing this party for about 25 years and it still fun.  I enjoy it as I get to see all sorts of Northfield friends and chat-imagine that.  This year there were about 65 people that came from 11:00 to 2:00 for sloppy joes, left over Christmas cookies, potato salad, and lots of other goodies ...
