... can finally say that all my stuff is packed away in a suitcase, duffel, and backpack. Not gonna lie I'm pretty impressed with myself. Six months of my life packed away into 3 square feet of space.
Tonight I head up to the cities. Take off is at 10:30 tomorrow morning. Less than 24 hours left in the States. Such mixed feelings right now, excitement paired with longing for home is not an ideal combination.

Let the packing begin! The spare bedroom has become the landing ground for each item as I think "oh yeah" I need to remember to pack that. Only three days to go and I'll be leaving behind -20 for 80! Can you say happy girl. :)

Later that night, we headed to the town centre and “First and 7th street entry” the venue famously used by the artist formally known as Prince in the film Purple Rain. ... we visited the Nicollete Mall, which is a street mall located downtown. In front of Macy's is a statue that pays tribute to the Mary Tyler Moore show. The statue features Mary tossing her hat into the air just like the start of the tv show. The show was based on a tv news station in Minneapolis.
