Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

... You could drink as much as you wanted. We received a small glass bottle of Coke to take with us......Ged saves old glass Coke bottles so I will take it home for him. Pros and Cons

    Pros:

    People are very Friendly
Had to get use to people talking to you on the streets without hidden agendas. Except the homeless they are the same world over.

    Parking is cheap
$3 all day parking common throughout the city.
No wonder the Subway is minimally functional.

... and thus, did not have to contend with any commute traffic. The ride was surprisingly easy and we made good time getting to our campsite just south of Atlanta by dinner time. I wanted to watch the Niner game and the Emmys, so we picked a first class resort again. Kap did not do well for the Niners, but Andrew Luck, former Stanford player, was fantastic for the Colts, so all in all, it was a pretty good game. ...
