... slop! It was a real Yankee farming meet, with the locals in typical bib and brace overalls, caps and chewing straw! There were lots of Amish folk there in strange garb, and Mumsie and I stood out like dunnies in a desert - pretty obvious we weren't locals! Mumsie and I arranged to meet Greg and Jasmin in a couple of hours, and then went off for a wander - it was very difficult to get around and although it was a great display it is not really our thing - so we ...
... wasn't great. Our second one will be the same KOA one in Richmond, IN. That one was nice. The third one was tricky to find. We are staying in Cambridge, OH, because any we found in West Virginia or Pennsylvania were pretty ******-looking. The one in Washington was the worst one of all. I met my grandparents at the park (which is just at the end of the bike trail) for the family reunion.
Full Day #1 in Two Rivers Manitowoc and glad to be out of the car. Today was great. When I woke up I explored the bike trail. At first I took it 3 miles to Point Beach and 3 miles back. That took almost an hour and a half. By the time I got back we were going to meet Aunt Patty, Aunt Kaye and Uncle Jerry at Patty's tavern / bar, "the Waverly." From there we walked through Two Rivers, window shopping all the way. We stopped at the same stores ...
