... slop! It was a real Yankee farming meet, with the locals in typical bib and brace overalls, caps and chewing straw! There were lots of Amish folk there in strange garb, and Mumsie and I stood out like dunnies in a desert - pretty obvious we weren't locals! Our last day was pretty nice. The weather was a cool, breezy 60's and sunny. In the morning I rode my bike into town, over the new drawbridge, past the harbor, and by the beach, all in one big loop. Overall it probably adds about 12 miles to my total.
We visited some huge garden today. It's a large, well-kept grounds full of flowers. Beautiful!
Not leaving until the afternoon, we wanted to wait ...
Today I woke up to grandpa being gone. He came back in about 15 minutes with danish pastries! I had a cherry-cheesecake danish for breakfast and will have a blueberry one tomorrow. After breakfast, I rode to Point Beach and back. MY BIKE IS GETTING MORE USE THIS WEEK THAN I HAVE RIDDEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I've learned how to use the gears on my bike though... :\
Today's highlight ...
... seat is getting uncomfortable. I rode from camp to town in the morning (5 miles).

After dinner, my grandparents dropped me off with my bicycle to take the path back. So, the path travels from Point Beach to our campground to town. Boy, my legs are tired! The day is now ending as I'm sitting in the camper typing this. Some other highlights of today were going to the community center, visiting grandma's parents and grandparent's graves, and seeing the lake. ...
