I'm a 38 year old single girl. Yep, still single. And I'm tired of wanting to travel but not always having someone to travel with. I've been wanting to take a trip to Vienna, Prague, and Budapest for awhile but plans never quite get me there. I've seen several other places instead so it's not as if I've been sitting at home all of the time. But I'm getting older and maybe I just won't have ...

Kim's experience to the start of the vacation:

Friday. The day I've been waiting for all week. I’d been in San Antonio, TX since Monday for a work conference. Friday. The day I get to go home and pack for Alaska. Later i took my bags downstairs and then before getting on the coach said goodbye to those staying ...

We pushed on to the north east and by about 5pm had reached Madison in Wisconsin (that's 8 states we have passed through) and struck some very heavy traffic on the Interstate. None of us had even checked the size of ...

Heading home

A travel blog entry by sanger.kayl on Jan 20, 2014

I had to do some last minute packing before heading to bed. Unfortunately that means a late night for me and an early morning. It's almost 1am and I have alarms set from between 4:55am-5:05am. Hopefully one of them will wake me up. If I miss my train and bus, I'm screwed. In 23 hours from this moment, I will be back home in Wisconsin. That's just crazy to think about.

Waking up at 5am was not my favorite thing to do. I packed up ...
