... party had a short rehearsal for the Christian ceremony tomorrow and we got our first taste of Indian food. The food was delicious, but I’m a huge wimp when it comes to spicy things and could only eat a few bites before my mouth felt like it was on fire. After such a long day on little sleep once we were back at the hotel all of us feel asleep almost the instant our heads hit the pillows.

... and then we were dropped right outside the hostel in central Hollywood....which happens to be directly opposite a gay and lesbian centre!� We dragged our bags off the bus and headed into the hostel. ... I contemplated getting a bus into the city, I am not sure I would make it back as I am feeling somewhat dazed. And also the card machines here don't seem to read foreign cards ... useful.

My flight back to the UK was mostly fine. Two lots of bad turbulence, but a really perfect landing. Well done Mr Pilot. We landed two hours before they started cancelling flights because of the snow. Pretty lucky. I would not have been impressed. I was nervous, as ...
