Ungeplante weitere Nacht in London
Der letzte Eintrag am 8. Juni sollte aus Koeln erfolgen. Geht aber nicht, weil ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt leider noch nicht in Koeln war. Was ist passiert? Wir hatten in London nur 1,5 Stunden zum Umsteigen und ich war von Anfang an etwas skeptisch, ob das reichen wuerde. Da muss der Flieger in den USA ja nur mal etwas spaeter losfliegen und schon …
The Russian Adventure Begins
I arrived at Heathrow airport a couple of hours before the flight, previously I had spent the night in the holiday inn hotel near Heathrow with Lou and had a cracking Chinese dinner and cooked breakfast. After taking me to the station I made my way to the bar for a couple of beverages. I felt excited on the unknown which lied ahead of my. My first …
Roomy in Coach!!
Everything went smoothly on our flight to London! The plane was small which surprised me, with only six seats in a row. Best of all, we had aisle seats with no one sitting in the middle! So for coach there was a lot of room and the seats we actually comfortable! It was a fairly uneventful day, just grabbed the Hoppa bus to the airport hotel after we landed.
We arrive at the hotel near Heathrow
The day has arrived to leave for the hotel near Heathrow. We have said good-bye for the past two weeks, and it has been a sad time. It was so heart renching saying good-bye to our parents, it's a feeling we never want to experience ever again. But we have to do this for us, for our future, but nothing is forever.
We knew that moving to …

TravelPod Member ReviewsHoliday Inn London-Heathrow M4, JCT 4 West Drayton
Staff was friendly, but there were charges for absolutely everything, including wifi and shuttle to and from Heathrow. Maybe this is my American mentality speaking, but I'm used to 4-star hotels having MUCH larger bathrooms, bigger rooms, and generally more amenities. The front-desk telephone was never answered when I called, there was one snack machine in the whole building, and that one sadly without variety, and the food was far overpriced. I mean, unless you're used to paying $20 for a simple Ceasar salad. In any case, it was a fine and adequate hotel, but only stay here of you can find a deal on it. I would never pay full price for it.

Used this hotel before an early flight the next day. Everything was fine, nothing to rave aout but no bad points either!

Nice Hotel
Impressed with hotel. Rooms very clean.
Not impressed with the restaurant though. Dinner for 2 was over £120. I would have expected to pay no more than £50 - £60 in a decent restaurant for what we got.
Not bad
nice hotel, good location from airport.
rooms have been refurbed and were very nice but room was incredibly hot, therefore got very little sleep. for this reason would not go again, but good value for money.
Brilliant
We stayed here for 1 night with 15 days parking. The staff were great. The room was so quiet and the bed was comfortable. Nicely decorated with everthing that you need. We had a meal in the evening which was very reasonable and tasted great. We used the taxi for £8.00 to get to and from the airport. It only took about 5 minutes to travel. Better option than the hopper bus. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice hotel
This hotel is certainly a very good choice if you have to spend one night near Heathrow airport. It is just 5 minutes by taxi from Terminal 4 and there is a bus service between the hotel and the airport (I would reccomend the taxi anyway, a cheaper and quicker option if you are travelling with at least another person). It is not a cheap choice though.
Rooms are really beautiful, simple but extremely clean and confortable. Breakfast was very good. Do go to this hotel if you don't care about your credit card bill.
Great value
Great little hotel for which we got a a fantastic rate. The rooms were a good size for the price and the restaurant was actually very reasonable. The only detraction was the sound proofing on the door between rooms - we could hear our neighbours tv for most of the night.
Rather than catch the hotel hopper bus from the airport you can catch the 144 from Heathrow Central bus terminus for free to the first stop if you want to save you fare to this hotel.
Would definitely stay there again if I had an early flight.
Great Parking packages available
We had a 1 night stay here before a 2 week trip to the States. £80 including 2 weeks parking. We found the shuttlebus quicker than queueing for a Taxi on the way back, but as other tripadvisor users state, make sure you get the bus to the right holiday Inn! The staff were great, Kids eat free in the restaurant-food was ok. It is as you expect a chain hotel to be , but we found it very friendly and efficient. Would definately use it for parking again, including the hotel stay still cheaper than airport parking, and no queues to get out, no scrabbling for change to validate your ticket when all you have is dollars.
Reasonable airport hotel - but confusing transport
found it to be the usual anonymous but OK airport hotel - like others got a good deal on priceline of £45 so cant complain. however what is confusing is that there are 3 holiday inns at heathrow - you can easily (as I did) get on the wrong bus at the airport. check the exact title of the hotel you want (this one - I think is HI M4 as opposed to HI ariel and HI something else). note also that there is a £3 bus charge each way - can be cheaper and quicker to get a taxi if there are 2-3 of you.
Fantastic!
Got this on Priceline for a much, much cheaper rate than offered (best rates are 60GBP Sat/Sun , 70GBP Mon-Thurs at time of posting). Placed on Executive Floor with my Basic Priority Club Membership. Curtains that fully blocked-out the light, great bed, newly renovated (great use of light-tone wood), and a great bath. Only problem was that the restaurant's curry buffet wasn't that appealing.
Tip about getting there from the M4: Keep taking the absolutely left-most turn until you pass under the motorway.
Would stay there again
Got a fantastic rate for this hotel through online bidding (£30 a night, hence we really have no complaints!) We also got a room on the executive level. Nice clean room with all the trimmings plus (two!!) showers in the bath. - First time the picture on the website has truly represented the quality we -actually- received. My only complaint is that the duvet/comforter could have been larger (it only just covered the bed) but that is being picky. I would also avoid the Rotisserie restaurant in the hotel, the food looked and tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamps for too long - you can get better quality food for cheaper elsewhere.I don't know what the regular rooms were like, but would definitely recommend the exec level rooms.....but shop around you can get it much cheaper than the rack rate!
First Class
Walked into the hotle on oct 6th no booking. Very well treated executive floor room and breakfast for 125 uk pounds. every little perk you could imagine
