600 Interstate 30 Little Rock, Arkansas, United States, 72202, 501-375-2100
I left OKC with sun and cloud and 44 F. But as miles of farmfields and trees passed, the clouds thickened up and I wondered when the thermometer would hit 50. It did in spite of the persistent cloud cover, about an hour outside of Little Rock. But, hey, it did not rain.
Saw more of the city than ...
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States visionriderI made it back home after about three months of travel. I really enjoyed my trip, but it was good to be able to get home and relax and not have to worry about getting to the next town or finding a place to stay, and having space for my stuff and getting home-cooked meals is even better. My little brother took over my room, though, so now I'm in his for the length of time I stay at my parent's house. It's time to start ...
North Little Rock, Arkansas, United States jwatson... for the high school. It was a very memorable tour that can only make you feel saddened that so much hatred exsisted and hopeful that times have changed and will continue to change as we as people treat each other with respect, kindness and tolerance. After speaking to the Rangers that work at the center, I left with a great deal of lesson plans and a CD that I can share with all my collegues at Dayton Street school. Ok ...

Conway, Arkansas, United States bastormsoccer... we hit a very bad storm - heavy rain, lots of wind. The
roads couldn't handle it and there was deep standing water on many of
the roads. We pulled off a while and waited it out. Once it calmed
down, we continued driving on US-78 toward Tupelo, Mississippi. We got
lunch at Arby's and let the kids stretch their legs (David Andrew was
mad that there was no playground!) We had a gas stop a couple of hours
later and were ...

Little Rock, Arkansas, United States lagalag1What a Day!... So on Sunday, August 3, 2008 I wake up and get ready with no set plans for the day, except to meet a few other co-workers from other locations in the world for dinner at around 7pm. So I figured I would just let the day play out as it may until the evening... I thought maybe I would take a cab to Beale St as several tours depart from that area. Some city tour companies did hotel pick up. Or maybe I would have the front desk ...
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States elkirbster... The Clinton Museum was wonderful. I grumbled about George Bush 2/3 of the time we were there and left a little angry. A lot of what Clinton worked so hard for has been deconstructed since then slowly and methodically. But this isn't a political blog . . . After the museum, we stopped by the gift shop (of course). The nice thing about the gift shop was that it was not set just before the exit of the museum. It was located several hundred yards away in a separate building ...
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States flying_shoe... wars he'd win, or lose. He had my vote, and now, I'll go to see the legacy he set in Little Rock. The rain has slowed, a little bit, the puddles plop and I pay no attention now, plop plop my way back to the car, get in and wipe my glasses dry. At riverside (the Arkansas) the brand-new Clinton Center sits, the parking lot is full today, a man is standing, pointing down another street, I turn and park four blocks away, reload the camera, set out walking in the rain.
