Iya Valley
Nach Kotohira fuhren wir ins Iya-Tal. Dort hat es viele Steilwände und Flüsse, welche sich auch zum River Rafting sehr eignen.
Anschliessend fuhren wir nach Kochi, wo wir übernachteten.
After Kotohira we drove to the Iya Valley. There are a lot of steep face and rivers where you also can go rafting.
In the afternoon we drove to Kochi, where we also stayed for the night.

Off To Kochi We Go
... in Kochi at 4:30pm, a little later then we hoped but still very early. We got to our hotel at around 5pm and rested for an hour before meeting Miko in the lobby. Miko is an old family friend. She met my grandparents when she was 20 years old, almost 30 years ago. My grandparents met a lot of Japanese students as they had a home stay program at their house for Japanese students travelling to Canada. This is how she met, Eiko and Miko.

This is a Typhoon?
... and cabbage. It was really delicious. We ate slowly telling teacher "war" stories until it was close to the time my hotel re-opened.
While we were at the restaurant the sky finally opened up and since about 12:30, we have been getting heavy rain.
