... is in Pittsburgh. Not long after that we crossed the border into Pennsylvania. We have been elsewhere in this state before. There was a lovely Welcome Centre (Information Centre) with picnic tables in a pleasant setting so it became time for lunch. • They had an enormous wedding party - 9 each bridesmaids and groomsmen.

it is also getting close to Halloween, the pumpkins are ripe and being picked and people are starting to decorate their doorsteps. Very interesting!

Vicki and I walked the perimeter of the golf course before having a siesta. Dinner tonight was on the lodge terrace under a large marquee. We had just sat down when it starting to pour with rain and there was spectacular thunder and lightening. After dinner the tables were moved back for ...

... in a much more pleasant setting. There is a lodge that overlooks a bowling green and golf course. Individual holiday homes are scattered around the edge of the golf course. There are tennis courts, a heated pool and a shooting range. Tonight there was a buffet dinner down by the pool. Afterwards at the lodge, I was sitting with Vicki, an English Aussie and Deb, a Tasmanian Aussie, when two American women came and introduced themselves and said they wanted to ...
