Day of relaxation today. Breakfast was in the lodge dining room from 8-10am; eggs, bacon, and sausage, waffles, fruit and yoghurt and pastries. The morning activity for those that were interested was a golf tournament. Vicki, Deb and myself (the Anzacs) watched the first group start from the first tee then went for a walk around the houses. This morning was had an early start as we had a taxi to catch at 7:30 to get us to the Ronald Reagan National Airport, Washington. The drive to the airport was less than half an hour but there was quite a queue for check in. While waiting to board we were watching a breakfast TV programme and saw a segment on liposuction for pets - only in America! Rain! It rained most of the day today we gave up and decided to bike through it. We had 19 miles to our campground in Rockwood when it started down pouring, the trail sunk and we went from going 11 miles to a high of 9 miles an hour. We finally got to the campground and everything was wet we decided to go to town to check out the hostal and get pizza. The hostal was empty so we are staying here tonight.
