Day 2 of 49 (Sep 8) found us still at Lake Conroe with absolutely nothing eventful to recount. We slept late, worked our puzzles, did a little shopping, grilled dinner and later Hannah took us for a walk. All in all, it was a quiet, relaxing day and the evening cooled off so sitting outside for a while was pleasant.

Curiously enough there was a Daq To Go shack right outside my hotel in New Orleans that I frequented while staying there.
I had a long awesome FaceTime date with the Loverly Lady Eryn, did a little blogging and went to sleep, dreaming of The Big Easy!

We made it to Crowley and realized we had a few things to re-think, re-organize, and re-build. We spent the next couple days at the Briggs residence utilizing the skilled labor and wonderful selection of tools available to nail down our rig! According to the map and our schedule, we're supposed to be in San Felipe, TX, just west of Houston. However, we hit a little road bump -- figuratively, not literally. Dan is in the hospital here in Lake Charles, LA so we're still here. He had several medical issues that needed immediate attention, hence the hospital stay.
