Holiday Inn Jacksonville International Airport

... anyway all is well and got onto the plane.<br><br>I arrived in Houston, TX around noon and waited for my flight to Jacksonville that was supposed to depart at 3:55pm central time. We sat on the plane for 1 hour because of an electrical error and I got to Jacksonville finally around 7pm EST.<br> <br>My hotel nice and right on the river that splits the city in half. Our inbound flight from Guantanamo Bay to NAS Jacksonville went as smooth as can be expected and on time. ... rocks was a 1999 edition and warmed was a 2002 edition, served along with a vanilla bean mousse and fresh strawberries. While I have had Quelque Chose before, I had never had it on the rocks or warmed. ... IN FLORIDA.WAS VERY INTERESTING.THE PARK ALSO HAS A DOCK FOR SMALLER BOATS AND DINGIES. YOU CAN MOTOR UP THE RIVER AND THERE IS TALBOT AND LITTLE TALBOT ISLANDS WITH HUGE ANCIENT SAND DUNES AND LOTS OF WILDLIFE. WHEN WE RETURNED TO BLUE DOLPHIN WE HAD COMPANY THREE OTHER TRAWLERS AND THREE SAILBOATS.AFTER THE SUN WENT DOWN THE ONLY LIGHTS SEEN WERE THE MAST LIGHTS AND NAV LIGHTS FROM THE BOATS VERY TRANQUIL.WE WILL HEAD TO ST MARYS ,GA NEXT.

We arrived in Fernandina Beach for a brief stopover. We arrived late and were lucky enough to get a site in the usually full Ft. Clinch State Park. We toured the town at night hence, no pictures, but toured the Fort the next day. Well worth a stop.
