    Home Sweet Home

A travel blog entry by psandefur on Jul 24, 2014

Although we had planned on 6 months we made it 113 days and Terry drove the motorhome 7,478 miles and 6,480 in the Jeep totaling 13,958.

We saw everything we wanted to see and were lucky to have good weather every where we went until we hit the south and got the rain and humidity.

Our next journey will continue next year....Stay tuned.

So, we knew the trip to St. Augustine was definitely going to be exciting but not always in a good way. We quickly discovered the water was EXTREMELY shallow and skinny even if it appeared wide. ...

... the team had played over 1000 games around the country and become the Harlem Globetrotters.

In 1941, the Globetrotters signed Reece "Goose" Tatum, an all-time great who developed amazing comedy moves and changed the direction of the team.

Twenty years after their inception, the Globetrotters had played 3,000 games and were featured on the cover of Life magazine. Those were remarkable achievements at a time when America was ...

Don't worry mum, it's not bad drama at all! I'm currently sat in my new room trying to work out how to use the tv. Manchester provided a surprisingly large selection of shops to wander around but I did almost end up buying a watch as every shop seemed to sell them. I boycotted duty free as they had more United souvenirs than City ones, but took solace in the fact they'd had to reduce to united shorts at the sports shop to stand any chance of shifting them ...
