... to see was Kobe Bryant, and we all applauded his every move and each basket he shot, especially Sam. Rotations were high as it was only a preseason game, but it was awesome to see Kobe in action, even though the Lakers lost by 15 points or so. The Warriors shooting was exceptional, and the night was something we will hold dear for a long time. Absolutely brilliant - basketball at its best. Home late and straight to ...

Today was the day for Killer Whales. We jumped in the car early and headed south to San Diego with the top down again. Fairly good drive, due to the early morning nature of our start. We lunched in the “Executive Dining Room” as part of the tour and had pointed out to us George Gallo who produced Bad Boys amongst others. Still, the anticipation was there that any moment anyone could come in.

There was a car collection that contains a “General Lee” and the “Shaguar” as well as a collection of Batmobiles. DiCaprio’s Gatsby “big yellow car” is ...

... but our main purpose for this visit was to be in the park for our 1.20pm reservation at the Blue Bayou restaurant, so we didn't expect to do many, if any, rides. However, whether it was the intervention of the Baby Jebus, or dumb luck, we struck gold. Between 8am and 10am we managed to ride Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Holiday Haunted Mansion, the Matterhorn and It's a small world. For a normal day at Disney this would be impressive, for December the 25th it was a ...
