With a predicted arrival time of 7:50 am Munich time, or 1:50 eastern time., we were airborne as the sun set across Atlanta. The weather was still 70 degrees F in our departure ...

... in the marina's woman's restroom, instructing me to "Please do not flush toilet with feet." I don't know that I ever had the inclination or coordination to do such a thing. Is there a technique, like a quick ninja kick or a slow toe grabber? Moreover, I wondered how the marina knew they had a problem with foot flushers. Did they catch them red handed (or red footed, I should say,) did they leave behind footprints or shoes or wet socks? I mean how does ...

... to the purchase of Signal Pointe Marina, which was also Alred's Marina in between being named Guntersville Marina after the old Alred's Marina sold. It's confusing to talk about which marina is which, especially when you are reading old charts.

Guntersville is also the home of our diesel boat mechanic, the illustrious Diesel Don. He has serviced Calliope for many years, working for the previous owners as well as us. Believe me, ...
