    ... that he had to survive a Minnesota winter, albeit a mild one, probably in their garage, only to emerge in the nice warm summer. Also consider that someone had to be in the driveway when he made the appearance and you have an interesting series of coincidences. He has fallen into the lap of luxury - his own warm private residence with frequent feedings of crickets and mealworms. Ahhhhh.

    And can we talk about the heat.

    9th Aug cont.

    From there we got on a few back roads and after getting a little lost as the signs are so confusing we found another place called Hayward. We then headed to a town called Austin which has a Spam Museum in which we just had to have a look in. After having lunch (no not Spam) we headed north to the big city of Minneapolis and headed straight for the Mall Of America hoping that they would have a tourist info counter. ...

    ... a whole day there but we managed to spend a couple of hours shopping. The boys bought suits for International Suit Up day for the following weekend and I bought a top, a scarf and some warm clothes for winter. There was also a theme park within the Mall so we couldn't resist one rollercoster ride which was alot of fun!

    That night we went out for dinner to a German restaurant and celebrated Octoberfest. I had baked salmon with poatoes which was with a herb ...

    ... t think they would come, but prepared just in case. Good thing we did, because around 4:30 in the morning we were awoken by strong winds, loud thunder and lightning. At first, there was no rain, but about 5 minutes later, that started in as well. The storm lasted about 20 minutes, but the wind lasted the rest of the night. Good news: the warm wind dried out our tent so we did not have to roll up a wet tent in the morning. Bad news: it is hard to sleep ...
