We ended November just 37 miles from Mimi's home in Dallas. We could have called and gone back for anther night, but we figured Mimi was ready for a little quiet after four days of action. We're bunking at a very nice Holiday Inn Suites that appears to be in the middle of nowhere and has less than a half dozen cars in a huge parking lot. Flying out of DFW at 1:10 pm on one of those cute little American Eagle planes. The flight was really bumpy and very uncomfortable, but the pilots evidently stayed awake because although we left 15 min. late, we arrived 5 min. early. Love those tail winds!!!

... I'll go traveling again, but this time southeast to the distant land of Frisco, which is where I work. It's a long a arduous drive, but it's okay, because I always keep a health pack and camping gear in my car, just in case I get attack by rabid armadillos or if I can't find a hostel to stay in on the way.
