      ... on time and we went on our way to the next gate for our flight to Seattle, meet up with Jackie and Shawn for a few minutes, and then to Anchorage.

      An exhausting but worth it 34 hours between airports and flights. Who knew it would take me longer to get to Alaska then for that nice woman to get home to South Africa? I should also mention that in the gate area, heading to Atlanta on the same Delta flight that never left, was Jeff Foxworthy. Pretty cool ...

      ... We went straight to the hotel – econolodge, got our rooms, unpacked, used internet, got ready for the
      next day, then back on the coach and we went off to dinner. Dinner was at the old country buffet. It was ok, nothing special. We then got back on the coach and did a tour of downtown, we saw the capital building and back to the hotel. I went to a room party, had a few drinks, played uno, used the internet and went to bed.

      ... get the hat and glasses and then set out for Milwaukee, stopping off at Dubuque to have a look at the mighty Mississippi River and to take a rickety old cable car to the top of a high ridge over the town, which gave us a great view.
